Simply - Simple Calendar · Last updated: August 23, 2026 · Version 1.5.3

1. Introduction

Simply - Simple Calendar ("the App") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the App collects and uses.

2. Information we collect

The App may handle:

By default, calendar content and daily memories are not uploaded to the developer's servers. Sign-in is optional and is used mainly to sync purchase status across devices.

3. How we use information

We use collected information to:

4. Third-party services

The App uses Google Play Billing, Google Sign-In, Google Drive (optional backup to your account's app data folder), Firebase Authentication, Firebase Crashlytics, Google AdMob, and Cloud Firestore. Please review each provider's privacy policy.

5. Data storage

Events, todos, monthly memos, and most settings are stored locally on your device (SQLite) and are not uploaded to the developer's servers.

Daily memory photos are stored on your device and are not sent to the developer's servers during normal use.

When you sign in, your purchase/premium entitlement may sync to Firestore. You can use the App without signing in, but sign-in is required to purchase ad removal.

Optional Google Drive backup (premium): If you tap backup in Settings or enable auto backup in Settings, daily memory data (mood, journal, and photos) is stored in the app data folder of your Google account via Google Drive. This data is not visible in the normal Google Drive file list and is accessible only through this App (including restore). We do not read your other Google Drive files. Deleting your App account does not remove this backup from your Google account.

When auto backup is enabled, the App may upload daily memories to Google Drive automatically while connected to Wi-Fi—for example after you save memories, or on app launch when unsynced changes exist. You can turn off auto backup in Settings at any time.

7. Account deletion

Signed-in users can delete their account from Settings > Account & purchase > Delete account. This removes your Firebase authentication account and cloud-stored purchase sync data (Firestore). Events, todos, memos, and other local data on your device are not deleted. Optional Google Drive backups in your Google account are not removed by account deletion. You can also request deletion by emailing shikaumired@gmail.com.
